Tally Cursor Blinking issue in narration

In India they are many company uses Tally as their Accounting Application and it’s been use India Wide

Using Tally on NComputing is very cost effective solution without degrading the performance of the users, but have seen that people are facing issue of Cursor Blink in narration.

Below is the answer and solution for cursor blinking in narration, so please follow all the steps as mention below.

Below step from 1 to 4 is for Windows 7 and above, if you are using Windows XP and 2003, please ignore first 4 steps and just follow from steps 5

1) First open NComputing Console.

2) Go to System Setting —-> Performance Profiles —-> Advanced

3) You will find below screen and click
a) Cursor shadow: change it to YES
b) Allow blinking cursor: change it to YES

4) After that close the console

5) Now Click the Start button, click Run, and type REGEDIT. Click OK and go to

[HKEY Local Machine > System > CurrentControlSet >Control > Multiuser

6) Exclude a Program from Hardware Acceleration

If a program displays frequent “blue box” flickering, it may be desirable to disable video streaming for that application. To do so, simply add the application’s executable to the following below registry key:

[HKEY Local Machine > System > CurrentControlSet >Control > Multiuser > ExcludeVideoPlayerNameList]

Each program in the list must be separated by a semicolon. For example, “explorer.exe;winword.exe;excel.exe;notepad.exe;AcroRd32.exe;tally.exe;chrome.exe;firefox.exe;iexplore.exe”

7) Exclude a Program from Video Acceleration

If certain applications appear to be getting accelerated when scrolling a page’s screen up and down

You can instruct VSpace to specially process scrolling in such applications to prevent streaming in this situation. Simply add the executable to this registry setting

[HKEY Local Machine > System > CurrentControlSet >Control > Multiuser > VideoPlayerNameList]

Each program in the list must be separated by a semicolon. For example, “explorer.exe;winword.exe;excel.exe;notepad.exe;AcroRd32.exe;tally.exe;chrome.exe;firefox.exe;iexplore.exe”

8) Exclude a Program From Scroll Protection

If certain applications appear to be getting accelerated when scrolling a page’s screen up and down

You can instruct VSpace to specially process scrolling in such applications to prevent streaming in this situation. Simply add the executable to this registry setting

[HKEY Local Machine > System > CurrentControlSet >Control > Multiuser > ScrollProtectNameList]

Each program in the list must be separated by a semicolon. For example, “explorer.exe;winword.exe;excel.exe;notepad.exe;AcroRd32.exe;tally.exe;chrome.exe;firefox.exe;iexplore.exe”

After doing above step 6, 7 and 8 you will find the screen

9) To Enable Cursor Blink to go below path and create a string value as show below

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server]

 

 

10) Create a String and name “CursorBlinkEnable” without quotes and put value as 1

 

11) Now close the registry editor
